Toddler Time

We started our day with a little play time but then cozied up to the table with our adult to work with numbers.  We put little candy pumpkins on each dot on a number. Then we counted the pumpkins and wrote the number on a bag of gel with our pointer finger. We did this with several different numbers before moving over to the rug for some Halloween fingerplays.

"J" and Papa worked very well together!

"R" and his mom put many puzzles together using shapes, during their play time.

Halloween Fingerplays
1. Haunted House: (to the tune of The Wheels on the Bus)
The ghost is in the house goes,
Boo, boo, boo,
Boo, boo, boo
Boo, boo, boo!
The ghost is in the house goes,
Boo, boo, boo!
On Halloween
2. Halloween: (sung to the tune of Mary Had a Little Lamb)
Halloween is coming soon,
coming soon, coming soon.
Halloween is coming soon!
Boo! Boo! Boo!

We identified the letters B and O. We also took turns finding the repeated word, BOO!

Happy Halloween!
