Today was our first Preschool Pages story hour! We had one very special preschool library friend in attendance! He came with his grandma.
Our theme for the day was All About Cats!
Books we read:
- Drat That Fat Cat by Pat Thomson
- Pet the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons by Eric Littwin
- Cat Goes Fiddle-I-Fee by Paul Galdone (we used the book to provide us with picture prompts as we sang the song)
We had fun listening to the stories, predicting what will come next, chiming in on parts of the story we knew and naming all of the animals as well as the sounds they make. We even found the letter O and the word "No".- Poems/Chants we did:
- Open Them, Shut Them
- Old Fat CatOur craft was a cat door hanger with
